I got to go on an adventure to Colorado, the Land of the Swinging Temperatures! My two "Happy Experiences" were going on this cookout with two of my favorite families, and reading to SIX of my darling grandchildren. Life is really pretty sweet sometimes!!

We had such fun and Cherry Creek Park and our Cookout!! Afterwards, we had a rowdy game of frisbee. These guys are getting pretty good!!

This is the famous Slip 'n Slide Gang!! It was still a little chilly, but a fun time was had by all.

Here is the famous Birthday Boy!! He is so grown up and cute and amazing! But now that he's five and soooo big, Grammy just can't lift him any more!!

A New Kitchen / Camping Out at Home

How does this look for decorating genius? The bad news is that there is no running water (I've been washing dishes in the bathtub!) and nothing to cook on (PP&J and cold cereal is our diet!) The good news is that as I write this worker-guys are installing the most beautiful cabinets ever! Yay! There is also a distinct advantage to having all the cupboard contents on the kitchen table--everything is soooo handy! And the refrigerator right next to the table--you don't have to get up if you forgot the catchup!
